Should disable/have an option to disable tooltips when active #57

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to a Japanese website
2. Find a link in Japanese text
3. Hover your mouse over it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the pop up should either be over the tooltip, or it should disable the tooltip.
What currently happens is the tooltip blocks part of the first entry in the box.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using the newest version on Windows Vista x64

Very much agree. I think this would be possibly the most important fix that
Rikaikun could use right now.

Yes, I realize that you can move the pop-up around with the A / Y buttons, but
having to do that too much can be annoying.

Speaking of which, I have my own specific minor problem with that (I'm looking
through these issues first to see if someone else has already mentioned it
before posting it myself):

I generally prefer to have the pop-up location in the bottom-right corner so it
doesn't cover-up / interfere with my mouse or other things (such as more
Japanese text) on the screen. However it defaults to popping up just below the
mouse, and so I have to press A two times in order to move it there (whilst
making sure that A) a text box is not active, and B) the mouse is hovering over
some Japanese text).

The issue is that I have to do that over and over again, since it doesn't
stick. In summation, I'd personally like the ability to set a default pop-up
location, but of course this is a separate issue.
I mentioned it merely as a response to the potential comment of "you can change
the pop-up location with A or Y if it's covering things up". I apologize for
leaving such a long comment, though.

Of course in the meantime, that A / Y functionality does get the job done at
least.
