When creating an area, the grid sometimes looks like more cells are selected than really are. This happens when selecting the second corner of an area and the mouse moves past the desired location; the cells past the desired location stay highlighted.
This is a visual bug only... the selected cell is still used for the second point in the rectangle. The map colors should reset properly after area creation. Extend or Shrink the area if necessary.
