No VRAM, GTT, and Event engine info #127

Hi,

I compiled and installed the latest version 1.4 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Linux 5/11.0-43-generic). The graphic card is AMD FirePro W7000, with open source driver Radeon (/lib/modules/5.11.0-43-generic/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/radeon/radeon.ko).

Radeontop runs but VRAM, GTT, and Event Engine showed 0.00% values. Those numbers do not change even I run Geeks3D GpuTest. Would you please help?

Thanks.

If other blocks showed values except EE, I can't help there, that's what the card reported. Perhaps it doesn't have an event engine.

For VRAM and GTT there should be error messages if it can't fetch them. This may require root rights, etc.

Hi Clbr, Appreciate for your response. As suggested, I run the command with sudo, but I still get 0% for VRAM and GTT. Please help. Thanks.

You'll need to find out why, I can't help there, sorry.

Thank you, Clbr. I will wait until AMD releases a new version of the graphic driver for Ubuntu 20.4.3.
