Ryzen 5900HX's Integrated Radeon Vega 8 Not Recognized in Proxmox 7.3.x #148

Hello,

Love this little utility. It's been a huge help as I'm learning about how to use my GPU with Proxmox. (I didn't even realize the GPU was only allocated 512MB of VRAM until I installed it).

However, it doesn't recognize the iGPU in my Ryzen 5900HX mobile processor.

When I went to check the version, I got an odd result.

root@andromeda-ii:~# radeontop -v RadeonTop unknown root@andromeda-ii:~# apt search radeontop Sorting... Done Full Text Search... Done radeontop/stable,now 1.3-1 amd64 [installed] Utility to show Radeon GPU utilization

I'm not sure why it wouldn't know what version it is, but the Debian repos say it's 1.3-1. The Debian Repo in use is Bullseye.

That appears to be a Renoir, whose pci id was added in 1.4. Please use a newer version.

Thanks! I suspected the repo had an outdated version, but I wasn’t sure.

I’ll have to figure out how to install it from a different repo, I guess. Or figure out how to build it. (I see instructions on the GitHub, but I’ve never compiled anything in Linux before.)
