Function keys non-functional #2

I'd like to be able to use function keys (F1-F10) in a game in DOSBOX, while keeping the keys' usual behaviour outside of DOSBox. Is this possible? (I don't mind if it's slightly awkward, like you have to do ctrl-alt-shift-r or something :).

Neglected to say I'm in ChromeOS not just Chrome.

Looks like in ChromeOS you hold down the 'Search' key and press the function keys, and it works as expected.
