TIMELINE. Set limit for Timeline #256

I would like to see if it's possible to set limit for dates to timeline.
Like if I have events only from year 2006 to 2009, I would like to create
the timeline only for this period, if the width is too small ofcourse
create timeline with width that can fill the window. Or if we can restrict
scrolling only in the area where we have the events is also fine.

hi,
Any one have idea to limit the timeline, I want to show only three month. The 
user should not scroll beyond that. please anyone help me out.
