This isn't really a defect but rather a feature request. Mostly the request is

Python 3.1 support, the ActiveMQ-CPP version could remain 2.6 I suppose. ...I

ActiveMQ-CPP 3.x support is still in the works for pyactivemq in the trunk.

Python 3.1 support is going to be tricky, since as far as I know, Boost.Python
doesn't
support Python 3 yet. I remember reading somewhere that this was planned as a
Google
Summer of Code project, which is starting soon. If that happens, porting
pyactivemq to
Python 3 shouldn't be too much work.

Supposedly as of Boost 1.4.1 Boost.Python supports python 3. (Haven't tried
it, just saw it in the release notes)
