How to install megasync in clear linux? #1304

Seems like a corrupt download. I assume this is more of a package request though.

Well probably any rpm based one will be your best shot.

This won't work. You can't pipe the output of multiple rpm2cpio files into cpio.

This won't work when one of the files has a SPACE character in the name.

cryptopp isn't something we want to add because it implements crypto algorithms. You can compile it yourself and install it locally, though, so that would be a solution.

Manually installing the Arch binary pkg from the Mega website worked for me. I just cp'ed the contents over to the root partition in its appropriate directories, of course, according the file structure in the pkg package, which seems not give any problems on CL. It's not an elegant solution, but it'll get the client up and running in the meanwhile.

@Deacymc Many packages, especially commercial programs, can be installed in this way.

@Deacymc could you please elaborate where to what files and which pkg to download. Cannot get my job done without mega.
