We have the modeswitch data for this modem (check /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules
). Check if that file exists, and make sure that you have the NetworkManager-extras
bundle installed. (reboot after installing).
i tried using my 3G modem but the system consider it as USB(lsusb), also, I tried this command "sudo usb_modeswitch -v 1bbb -p 022c -u 2" , but nothing changed, when i plug this modem in ubuntu it shows me the pin dialog box and than i go to network setting ,select the country and add the network provider, but in clear linux, even this broadband option in setting is nowhere to be seen. btw, this is the fastest linux ever i tried, it's sooo fast on my intel pc, but i would love my modem to work so i can use it.
thank you
