I took a quick look. This depends on a whole framework of AyatanaIndicators, and will take a fair amount of work to integrate.

Ohh.. Do I need to have the same framework if I want to build from source ? Also the installation instruction mentions following: Inside unpacked directory run

./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --datadir=/usr/share
make
sudo make install

What arguments should I pass for --datadir ? For --prefix I guess it would be /usr/local . Can someone please confirm.
