I feel like I need to compare this to the retro terminal effects feature from Windows Terminal.

Yes I know, it is just a mask, but it is beautiful.

https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/pull/7058 will provide an great alternative if running Clear Linux in a VM or WSL(2).
