Was archiving various repos intentional? #2849

I recently landed on a repo owned by this clearlinux org, but I noticed it had been archived in Jan 2023.

There was no commits for years, but just archiving it like that seemed a bit odd? Turns out that many more repos were archived at this time too (presently 57 archived, I haven't checked the archive date for each but many were early Jan 2023).

I tried looking around for some hint of discussion about this, but didn't have luck glancing through Github, clearlinux.org blog, nor the Discourse community forum sections.

If this was intentional, is there a public resource that explains why all the repos were suddenly archived? I assume the forks are no longer needed, and those that are not forks won't see further development? (eg: PSSTOP?)

unfortunately this is the result ofa misguided corporate "security" bot and we've been unarchiving things as we found them ;(
