Practical use of iso images #2894

The img image does not boot from a USB device in UEFI like the iso Is there a better or closer way to install a system with an img image than with an iso image?

As far as I recall, they've committed to supporting ISO images for the foreseeable future. Almost all new releases come w/desktop ISO image.
