+1 podman is available in most other distributions. Hope this will be added soon. 🤞

I've just heard about podman and would prefer to use it to manage containers using systemd. Has anyone tried building an RPM for it on Clear?

seems the dependency conmon was easy enough, so we at least already have that.

it is weird that it is not yet added, seeing that it's basically everywhere.

Podman is currently in the Clear Linux repos, see https://github.com/clearlinux/clr-bundles/blob/master/bundles/podman

However, the version of Podman is not up-to-date. Currently, v4.2.0 is available to be installed while the upstream Podman release is at v4.5.1

@fenrus75 is the maintainer.
