Package request: mozc #823

Currently there's no way of typing Japanese on Clear Linux.

On ubuntu, either sudo apt install ibus-mozc or sudo apt install fcitx-mozc will install mozc. Introducing mozc package would be a great help for those who want to use Japanese on Clear Linux.

I have tried to installing mozc by..

  1. Build deb packages of Mozc on ubuntu docker container.
  2. Convert debs to rpms by alien.
  3. Installed rpms by yum localinstall.

The way did not work. It looks ibus (I installed ibus-mozc) is working but could not type Japanese character.

I have also find out that yum destroys one of system file (mine was also destoried).

I too was disappointed that there was no way for me to install a Japanese IME. But I can understand that ClearLinux has higher priorities. But I just discovered that the gmail web client DOES offer their Mozc to any browser, look for the "Input Tools" icon. https://www.google.co.jp/ime/ works for me...
