How to Save a sliced sample #137

Hello -- I'm using LMMS 1.2.2 in Windows, and I've set up Ninjas2 as a VST plugin. And I have a chromatic sample file that I've manually sliced with Ninjas2. It plays successfully in the music project, but I can't figure out how to save the sliced sample. I've tried every way I can think of to save presets (I've saved a Ninjas2 .fxp file, and a Vestige .xpf file). But every time I load them, the sample file is still raw and un-sliced. And when I've saved and re-opened the LMMS project, it forgets the preset and forgets the slices. Is there a way to save the setup work so it loads with the LMMS project? Thanks for your help!

The host (LMMS in this case) should save the state of the plugin on project save. I haven't implemented presets so I have no clue what the fxp or xpf is supposed to do. Ninjas is primarily written for use in Linux because I couldn't find a Linux sample slicer. I suggest using another plugin on windows. HY slicer https://hy-plugins.com/download/ comes to mind.
