Resolves issue where logout modal is not displaying on index.php on WP Engine servers.

@jessepollak Give me till tomorrow to finish investigating a related open ticket on a WPE site . . . if there are no further tweaks needed regarding this ticket, I'll prob say ship it.

@jessepollak that ticket was unrelated. . . . If the remaining tweaks look good to you, it's ready to ship (I dated the changelog for tomorrow).
