More clarification on how whitespace is handled seemingly needed for both developers & creatives

The Problem

There seems a need for the styleguide to be provided more information in how designers & developers are to approach whitespace.

Side-effects of this problem is left unchecked

If not addressed developers & designers can great scenarios where common grid mistakes such as "7s" will occur, no sense of cohesion between how elements are spaced throughout the page, & missed opportunities to create experiences optimal to delight users and get what they need to get done from pages.

Recommended tasks

• [ ] Define what grid strategies by default Clef desires from developers & designers. If a content-first (or content-out) layout is desired that often necessitates asymmetrical grids based on ratios, provide them the information to set one up within Clef entities
• [ ] Consider a baseline grid be adhered to, a scaling system of how vertical space is to be
• [ ] Do not make the common mistake to think in 12 columns, consider grids that best accommodate the common content
• [ ] List exceptions.
• [ ] List tools that Clef will use to do this
