Wasn't aware you couldn't do that, that should definitely be possible. Until it's fixed, you can duplicate the column (probably change the name) into an AdditionalMetaData column in the specimen file to get around that.

I like that idea, will give it a try.
Can't recreate, closing. Probably was something to do with the column having only one value, or otherwise not being eligible for discrete analysis.
Is there a reason we can't specify fields in the subject metadata file too? If not, should expand this functionality.
