I could add an option to include blueprint trophies inside the pool of randomized upgrade, without much work. However, mixing upgrades and cogs seem much more difficult. Maybe by placing a NPC giving you that upgrade ? (placing an upgrade podium should be problematic because of the space !)
What about Trader Carson's upgrade cogs? He's an NPC!
I would like to see a mode added to allow for randomization of the blueprints for trophies as well. A way to toggle between the options a bit more freely to get the game you want to play (i.e. toggle on this toggle off that feature). This mode would add some flavor and create some more variety/complexity in the seeds. (i still haven't figured out what some of them want me to do and i get stuck!)
I am not sure if you can change the trophies to award a blueprint instead? that might also be a great option to add some fun and randomness to the game. Same with cogs to randomly award a blueprint or trophy instead of a cog. Or possibly have the upgrades from the shop award random cog/trophy/blueprint as well? The options are seemingly limitless!
What I am getting at is added complexity for the randomizer. I am not sure how much work this would create for you but I feel like it is probably doable and would add some more fun.
