vs 10.1 does not remember current playlist #98

On my Lenovo tablet the app can be started via ticking the icon on the home screen, or, when it is already running, via the "tray": swipe upper left corner of the screen downwards. The app does not select the current playlist (current = selected playlist / tab on Clementine on my Mac). When swiped open it shows the Free Space on the second line of the screen just below the Artist and Songtitle (and above the cover picture). When I tick that Free Space the left menu opens and I can select Playlists (the app highlites Downloads at that moment). The app then always shows the first playlist (first = first tab on Clementine on my Mac), but never the current playlist (the one which is selected in Clementine and the one which includes the current song).

When the tablet sleeps (screen off) and I wake it, the app shows the first playlist and not the second that I had selected before the tablet started sleeping.

So maybe a variable that points to the last selected ( = current) playlist is missing or not updated? just my 2 cents offcourse!

Thanks.

Can you please make a screenshot of the faulty state? This way its easier for me to understand the problem.

So now I know how to create screenshots in Android 4.2! And I hope that github can process this mail

The first one is from my Mac where Clementine is running: <1> [image: Inline afbeelding 1]

The playlist where I am playing tracks from is highlighted on the second tab (Alles > 1999 etc)

When I start Clem Remote on my Lenovo tablet: <2> [image: Inline afbeelding 2]

As you can see two playlists are shown: lowlighted the one to which the Miles Davis track belongs. Highligted and shown right is (in my opinion) the wrong playlist. It is the playlist in the first tab of Clementine (all tracks > 2008). I would expect that Clem Remote would show on the right playlist "Alles >1999 etc" with the Miles Davis track highlighted.

This is after I ticked "all tracks >2008: the lists of open playlists. That is OK, exactly as expected. <3> [image: Inline afbeelding 3]

and this is after I ticked playlist "Alles >1999". <4> This is how I would expect ref<2> to be [image: Inline afbeelding 4]

After ticking Home and swiping left upper corner <5> [image: Inline afbeelding 5]

After Freddie Freeloader is ticked. The list on the right shows the library (why?) <6> [image: Inline afbeelding 6]

when Miles Davis / Freddie Freeload (btw Great song!) is ticked the sidebar opens <7> [image: Inline afbeelding 7]

when playlists is ticked in that sidebar that darned "all tracks >2008" to which the track shown does not belong is shown <8> [image: Inline afbeelding 8]

I hope this mail is shown correctly in Github. If not I can send it to your email address or pastebin it.

Thanks for looking into this and good luck,

installed v 10.1-21 g074e92c. It does not start, only shows message "Version not compatible" On my Mac vs 1.2.2 is running.

amuttsch commented 9 years ago

Since the last few commits I broke compability with 1.2.x because I implemented features only available in the dev builds (and in the next major version once it's done).

You have to compile a dev build in order to use the recent versions.
