Arnaud: could this be related to r3043 ?

Hmm, maybe, because in Clementine.conf in ~/.config/Clementine the equalizer names are also labeled stranglely. This issues is not because of translation, because it appears in both Bulgarian and Eniglish Clementine, further more I'm the one behind the majority of the Bulgarian localization and I'm pretty sure i didn't put "???????????" on the equalizer presets. See the marked text in the attached screenshot.

I was able to reproduce your problem. I'm working on it; it's certainly related to change I committed in r3043 . If it is really a problem for you, you can use an older version of Clementine (previous to r3043 ), until I fix the problem. Thanks for reporting it!

Nope, I rerely use the equalizer so I am sticking with the clementine-dev ppa. Thanks for the fix that will come and thanks for making Clementine such a wonderful player!
