Clementine hangs indefinitely after delays with disk availability.

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Run Clementine, play songs.

2. Run something that highly uses disk, especially creating high iowait and high load (I'm having configuration issues of my VMWare's VMPlayer and having two VMs open creates 60-80% of iowait on triple core AMD). What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected output: music tearing (as Clementine got it's io share, it's just some amount it would get) but Clementine no matter what tries to play something and does not stop on trying.

Instead: Music tearing, but after some time Clementine hangs and stops playing music (even teared) and stops responding at all, does not even let user close it by the "x" button on the title bar. It does change even after the high iowait and load are gone. Only way to close it "elegantly" is using kill (used "killall clementine" and worked). What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Clementine 0.7.1 from Ubuntu 10.10 repository: " http://ppa.launchpad.net/me-davidsansome/clementine/ubuntu " Ubuntu 10.10 (up to date). Please provide any additional information below. Thanks for your work, guys! I love Clementine :)

Same issue on Gentoo with clementine-1.1.1 in portage.

I am able to use other music players while the system is under heavy io, like cmus, but not clementine. Clementine will go into disk sleep and no longer play any music or respond until the system is no longer under heavy io.

Like the OP, I experience the hangs while virtual machines are running.
