It would make managing playlist easier if there'll be possibility to force showing full playlist names, now if there is more of them I have to guess which is which depending on first letter and three dots. The second thing is that if I creating new playlist by dragging folder on playlist bar, name of playlist could be folder name instead of "New playlist". Apart from that subfolders/cue files by which usually albums are separated could be somehow marked on playlist. I mean something like this:

< ([Pink Floyd]) | [Dio] | [RHCP] > Playlist bar 1975 - Wish You Were Here Name of subfolder
------------------------------------ bold and underlined 1 Shine on ... Tracklist 2 ... 3 ... 4 ... 5 ...

1977 - Animals

1 ... 2 ... and so on

I think you've mentioned a couple of separate things here.

1) The eliding of playlist names in the tab bar should be less of an issue with the new playlists tab in the sidebar. 2) Dragging folders to the tab bar should name the playlist after the folder. Where are you dragging the folder from? The Files sidebar? This works properly when dragging things from the Library I think. 3) Adding dividers in the playlist view. This has been discussed before and won't happen.

Number 2 is a good idea, I'll change this issue's title.

Summary: Dropping a folder on the playlist tabbar should name the new playlist after the folder (was: More AIMP-like playlist behaviour)
