Gstreamer already supports playing back online streams using rtmp, for instance: $ gst-launch-1.0 rtmpsrc location="rtmp://195.23.102.206:1935/comercialmp3/comercialmp3.sdp" ! flvdemux ! decodebin ! pulsesink
So I'm guessing it would be pretty straightforward to allow clementine to also play such streams.
