Revisit Shoutcast Integration #5464

Hi everyone,

it seems to me like the Shoutcast agreement was changed - they now seem to allow integration without the toolbar. I haven't been able to find a clause against it and they even expose an API.

http://wiki.shoutcast.com/wiki/SHOUTcast_Developer lists protocol and XML metadata specification http://wiki.shoutcast.com/wiki/SHOUTcast_API_License_Agreement contains only a few usage restrictions, which should be no problem http://shoutcast.com/Developer clearly states: SHOUTcast is the largest internet radio directory in the world with more than 50,000 stations actively streaming. Developers use our APIs to build these radio stations into websites, apps on iOS & Android, players, media centers and unlimited other possibilities.

And even an earlier issue closed with an encouraging e-mail response that said the toolbar is no longer a requirement, cmp. https://github.com/clementine-player/clementine/issues/593

So maybe it's time to revisit this issue.

Best wishes, Joe
