WMA song played twice with clementine 1.3.1 #5523

Please provide information about your system and the version of Clementine used.

With wma files, some music are repeated twice with every random and repeat configuration (except "repeat song"). But the first time the repeated song is played, there isn't any notification and the player don't "move" the next song. For example, with a song A and B, ... (repeat all and random deactivated):

  1. The song A is played until the end.
  2. The song A start again but playing song B
  3. The song B end and it start again but a notification is sent and the player display that song B is playing

I've noticed (so far) this bug only with WMA file. The bug came with an update but I don't know witch one: I haven't played WMA file for few months (because of another bug with gstreamer).

Steps to reproduce the problem (only for bugs)

  1. start a playlist composed of WMA files
  2. use any configuration (for repeat and random) except repeat song
  3. start the playlist
  4. some song should play twice without sending notification or changing the player display

I have the same problem with aac(m4a). I'm using Clementine on Windows 10 14393.

I can confirm the bug is linked to WMA file (see #5489 for maybe some other confirmations) in my case, exactly as described by @n3f4s. Note that the bug is not triggered when the WMA song is selected manually, you really need to wait for the bug to happen for some reason.

It happens to me as well. Xubuntu, Clementine 1.2.3.

I am having the same problem on both my windows 10 box and my arch box.

Clementine stopped playing wma files altogether (cf #6128 )
