Can't load channels from classicalradio.com nor rockradio.com; yet di.fm, jazzradio.com & radiotunes.com work fine. #5616

System information

Expected behaviour / actual behaviour

Expected: Clicking on "Digitally Imported", "JAZZRADIO.com", or "RadioTunes.com" expands channel list.

Actual: Clicking on "ClassicalRadio.com" or "ROCKRADIO.com" brings up the Preferences dialog the first time, on the Digitally Imported account settings tab. Settings are correct, same premium account details as the aforementioned working providers; close dialog. Clicking on Classical or RockRadio now doesn't seem to do anything. The little black triangle 'expand' is also now absent from the left of these two entries.

Steps to reproduce the problem (only for bugs)

  1. Open Clementine
  2. Select "Internet" tab
  3. Select "ClassicalRadio.com" or "ROCKRADIO.com"

The settings dialog is only brought up the first time. After that, no reaction. DI, Jazz & RT.com are unaffected throughout and can be played before or after doing this.

Since all five of these internet radio providers are run by a single account provider, Clementine has allowed the logins for all five to be managed by one entry in the Preferences dialog, "Digitally Imported". Here, the following (premium) stream quality options are listed:

Going by the settings on the websites of each of these five providers, different quality options are listed:

In Clementine, could incorrect links to unsupported streams from some of these providers be breaking the channel listing function?

I am still having the same issue as the above. Try to load Rockradio and it just takes me straight to the DI.FM settings page

smiley0455 commented 7 years ago

The same problem here. Running Clementine 1.3.1 on Ubuntu 16.04. The same problem was also persistent with previous versions of Clementine.

simbalion commented 6 years ago

Also having this issue.. The only two which aren't working for me are ClassicalRadio.com and RockRadio.com.

Protarios commented 6 years ago

Having the same issue now

dwconsulting commented 5 years ago

I can confirm this is still an issue for both the ClassicalRadio.com and RockRadio.com stream providers, but works for DI.FM and JazzRadio.com

mbirgi commented 4 years ago

Right now, none of those work, and ClassicalRadio is not even visible in the list (v1.3.1 on MacOS Catalina).

Confirmed issue on v.1.4 rc2 under Debian 11 + KDE: have

Digitally Imported, Jazz Radio and Radio Tunes working but Classical Radio and Rock Radio are out.

campZero commented 2 years ago

Actually shocked this is still an issue after all these years. Clementine 1.4 rc2, EvolutionOS

Same as above: Digitally Imported, Jazz Radio and Radio Tunes working but Classical Radio and Rock Radio are out.

Still open :( ?

Found a workaround!

If you click on the web player settings, to export the favorites playlist and import them on clementine. It works!

If you are comfortable building from source, the fix is in. I don't know how the release process works or when any distro will pick up the changes.
