Auo sample rate change not taking effect in macOS Sierra [10.12.4 (16E195)]

System information

Please provide information about your system and the version of Clementine used.

• Operating System: macOS Sierra (10.12.4)
• Clementine version: 1.3.1-326-g2c60481

Expected behaviour / actual behaviour

When a track with a particular sample rate is played, the same sample rate should be reflected at "Audio MIDI Setup->Output" section.

When a track with, say 48KHz sample rate is played in Clementine, the sample rate shown at "Audio MIDI Setup" stays at 44.1KHz.

Steps to reproduce the problem (only for bugs)

1. Select Sample rate as "Auto" in "General->Playback->Sample rate" option from Clementine options. Click "Apply" and then "OK".
2. Play a track with sampling rate of 44.1KHz.
3. Open "Audio MIDI Setup" on macOS Sierra and observe that the Output Format has been selected as 44.1KHz.
4. Now play a track with a different sample rate, say 48KHz.
5. Now check that the Output format remains at 44.1KHz instead of reflecting 48KHz.
