Clementine 1.3.1 Mac - 'GStreamer Encountered a general stream error.' for external audio interface #5781

I just downloaded and installed the newest build of Clementine and no matter what file type I try to playback (MP3/FLAC/Wav) I receive the same error message:

-'GStreamer Encountered a general stream error.'

I noticed that this happens when Clementine is using an audio interface, but it appears to play back properly on the Built-in sound card.

I have set the audio interface manually and have also tried to let the program automatically pick an interface, and still have the same problem. I have left the Sample rate to auto as well, but did try variations on sample rates manually.

I am using the Focusrite Scarlett 6i6, not sure if that makes a difference or not as it appears to do the same thing on my MBox2. So it seems like playing back on an external sound card is generally the issue.

Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.

Same here for the Presonus Studio 192 :/

Hello, i had same issue with Clementine 1.3.1 from https://www.clementine-player.org/ with Focusrite 8i6

But then i tried latest dev-build version from: https://builds.clementine-player.org/mac/ and now its works like a charm!

Tested on Mojave and El Capitan

Try it now.... playback is smooth 👍 Seems faster perhaps. The library update is 10 minutes (I got 12,000 tracks I think a folder is on the network). So far so good.... never noticed the colour histogram near the bottom that's cool.
