4 years ago Personally I like current state as it makes easier to select correct rating for new unrated files.
Outlines appearing over hover would make harder to immediately select correct rating.
Actual behaviour
The start outline for ratings is shown for any track, independently of the fact wether the specific track has a rating or not. That behavior unecessarily clutters the view.
Expected behaviour
A cleaner design would be, to only show the star ratings for tracks, which actually have a rating. Minor design tweak would be to make the stars a tiny bit smaller, so that the rating column does not look less convoluted.
