Projectstatus #28

Open mvarendorff2 opened 8 months ago

I am wondering whether this project is up for adoption. Several of the long-standing issues have been fixed in open PRs but haven't been addressed from maintainer-side and the project hasn't seen any activity on the default branch in 1.5 years.

@clentfort what is the status of this project and if it's unmaintained from your side, would you be open to have it adopted by a new group of maintainers? My employer uses this great exchange in several projects and we'd love to see it move forward again!

As you can guess from my activity here, I no longer maintain the project. I'm happy to handover the repo and npm package name to atmina. Please let me know how to get into contact.

Awesome! Feel free to shoot me a mail at michel.vonvarendorff@atmina.de :)

Any updates on this? I'd love to be able to use this exchange without needing to hack around #24 and other issues

mvarendorff2 commented 6 months ago

@clentfort just to make sure I didn't miss a mail or anything: Did you reach out on the address provided above yet? If a different medium is better for communication for you (Discord perhaps?), let me know! I'd love to get some life back into this great project :)

For everyone watching this thread: I have forked this project to my employer's organization: https://github.com/atmina/urql-custom-scalars-exchange and published it under @atmina/urql-custom-scalars-exchange@1.1.0.

The version includes the three MRs

23 - Support for nested fragments

25 - Fix for nested arrays

27 - Support for urql@4

We plan on maintaining the package moving forward including dependency updates (which will follow soon). If there are any questions / problems, please open an issue in our repo!
