when both repfreq and chkfreq are 0, the same error message is given out.

The restrictions for repeat and check frequency are given in the User Guide:

Hence the error message about invalid (repeat) frequency is correct, since repeat frequency cannot be 0. However, we agree that we can make the error message more specific in the future.
