Error with Two pages view [Flash] #335

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
1. download and unzip FlexPaper_2.0.3_c_Annotations_1.0.20_Customizable_UI
2. deploy on a web server like Apache 2.0
3. open index.html
4. click on "two pages" button

The first time you click on "two pages" button nothing is showed. The second
time you click on "two pages" button after returning to "single page" view, the
second page is blank (you cannot check this with example pdf because the second
page is empty).

FlexPaper version: FlexPaper_2.0.3_c_Annotations_1.0.20_Customizable_UI
OS: Ubuntu 12.04
Browser: Chromium 20

Console errors:

Uncaught Error: Error in Actionscript. Use a try/catch block to find error.
Onclick libri.html:117
Uncaught Error: Error calling method on NPObject.
Onclick libri.html:117

Moreover the zoom tools are not disabled in Flash version as it happens in
HTML5 version.

Confirmed, it seems to happen only on page 1-2.

1. open a document within flexpaper
2. swith to two pages view --> the page #2 (on the right) is blank
3. move forward --> page 3 and 4 are showed correctly
4. move back --> page 1 and 2 are showed correctly
5. switch to 1-page view --> page 1 is showed correctly
6. switch again to 2-pages view --> you have again the problem, page 2 is blank

Actually the issue has not been fixed in
FlexPaper_2.0.6_c_Annotations_1.0.20_Customizable_UI.
The problem remains as it was reported in the issue.

FlexPaper 2.0.6 sample:

This still persists (see the video in previous comment) in new pre-release:

We can not reproduce this in our local environment when verifying this build.
Did you update all your scripts and files prior to testing this or just
FlexPaperViewer.swf? The error you are seeing suggests that some files may not
have been udpated

We cannot reproduce in our environment when testing this build. have you
updated all your local files and cleared your cache prior to trying this build?

I downloaded the zip file
FlexPaper_2.1.0_c_Annotations_1.0.40_Customizable_UI-rc2.zip you sent us via
Dropbox, and extracted it on a webserver without modifying it.

Have you tried it on Ubuntu with Chromium?
I just tried it on Windows XP and it works correctly.
Maybe it depends on Flash Player Plugin version 11.2 (the last supported on
Linux)?

We don't test against beta builds of Chrome as they can differ a lot from their
final release.

Chromium is not a beta of Chrome. It is its open source version which is the
standard version distributed on official repositories of Ubuntu.
