Message: I don?t see the point of the ?Tab Bar? and the options to hide and show it. It would make sense if there are multiple tabs, but is that even possible? I?d remove it altogther as it?s just confussing.

Thanks for this - completely missed Apple was automatically opting in my window to this behavior. It's fixed in v8.7.0.
