Using lftp and then du -h commands I got:

lftp ghrc.nsstc.nasa.gov:/pub/rasi> du -h 3.1M ./panama/data 3.1M ./panama 3.1M ./papagayo/data 3.1M ./papagayo 3.1M ./tehuantepec/data 3.1M ./tehuantepec 9.3M .
