The whole site seems rather important even though the documents directory does not exist.

Started a download of the whole thing; not sure how many gigs it is. supposedly my hosting plan involves unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage... I've had the account for ten years and never tried to push the boundaries. I wonder what's gonna happen.

@Trevoke it is probably many many Terabytes, there are multiple already existing issues for various subdirectories of podaac.jpl.nasa.gov and a lot of them are several dozen gigabytes. You can see them by clicking the blue 'podaac' label that @mxplusb created above

@Trevoke Thanks for your help! I agree with @donbright that your effort is best spent on a smaller PODAAC issue.

We will close this one if no one can confirm that/pub/documents content exists somewhere.
