3.4T .
I had this running onIDM but I will have to back out. I only got 7.88 GB of 1980 I had no idea it added up over 3TB. I don't have that much free space at the moment
I have just started downloading this at: https://bitbucket.org/azimuth-backup/azimuth-inventory/issues/106/noaa-ncei-geostationary-ir-channel
It turned out we already have 3.4T of this downloaded by Jan Galkowski currently on Azimuth Backup Project privately controlled server pub05 in Germany.
I'm getting this right now, and have enough storage!
This is not done downloading, but it will be permanently archived here: https://data.ourdataourhands.org/eclipse.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/cdr/gridsat/files/
@ivanstegic Still in progress? Thanks!
This continues.
Currently at 2.5TB
Mirror and checksums on geom.dartmouth.edu.
https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/data/geostationary-ir-channel-brightness-temperature-gridsat-b1/access/
Large dataset that has not, as far as I know, been mirrored yet
see issue #274
