I vote to close #76 and keep #84 (this one). @elfplease what were you able to download?

I downloaded only a small subset only I'm afraid. I got all of arthurhou.pps.eosdis.nasa.gov/trmmdata/3G/V06/ (there is a directory for each day from 1997-2011) and some of arthurhou.pps.eosdis.nasa.gov/trmmdata/3G/V07/. It's 90GB total. It's a little hard for me to make this visible online but I'll try.
