Design questions:

API changes to add URLs to alternate-language JSON files and add language names for display in the settings menu
Settings menu for language options
If/when to download alternate-language JSON files
Alternate-language text for menu settings
Prefs storage for language settings

Design decisions (2024-04-25):

Keep using the existing langs key in the API
Add a new key for the language names to display in the menu (each language name in its own language)
Download API files for all available languages to the clock when the server indicates that the files have changed
Only download as many languages as will fit in (at maximum) 1/2 of the available disk space
Show only downloaded languages in the menu of available languages
Show the download date of each language's API file in the menu of available languages
Store language selection in the user prefs
