Remove text in tables, figures.
Adobe says it does this. In Adobe extractor class, there's an elements.
Remove figure and table captions.
Pick documents with figures that contain text and see if the logic has worked.

Looks to me like this is a stale issue. Adobe does this automatically and I couldn't find any error cases running the embedded text extractor on a bunch of documents.
