@dazzariti is this the same as #19?

dazzariti commented 1 year ago

19 was intended to be for all VCEPs not just the approved ones submitting to ClinVar - I created this new one today as a short term task based on our discussion at this morning's meeting

@dazzariti All of the above reports should be ready for use. Please check to make sure you can "refresh" each one. and check out the "How To Use" help window. They are here

@larrybabb The "How to Use" still runs a script and asks for permission - is that the intent? We could just link the How to Document there if that's easier.

larrybabb commented 1 year ago

Does it ask every time? or just the first time a new user clicks it? If it does it every time then there must be some permission on the google doc that is causing it (guessing).

It was just many clicks to run the script but then I didn't need to do it again. Just to confirm, this text will automatically refresh if the linked Google doc is updated?

larrybabb commented 1 year ago

It should. Here's how it works. In the google doc under the File:Share menu I selected publish

temp1

then I copied that link into the script that displays the published version of the google doc in the google sheet's "How To Use" function

temp2

Since I checked the "Automatically republish when changes are made" option it should update the published link I use as soon as you make changes.

If someone messes with the publish options on that doc then we might have issues.
