Cannot import to CouchPotato #465

I posted this on the couchpotato forums at https://couchpota.to/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4130&p=19434#p19434 before i found this area here, i'm having an issue where i cannot import any movies from nzbtoget to couchpotato using nzbtocouchpotato. I've turned on debug in the autoprocess config file, and i should in theory be on the dev version (if i changed it properly), but i have no idea how to check.

It just stops on the very last line there, and never seems to move past it. I removed any hashes that i thought might be insecure, and replaced the movie name with .

Opening URL: http://localhost:5050/api//media.get did you remove the api key from this line... or have you not put the CouchPotato apikey in autoProcessMedia.cfg

I removed it, it did have brackets around the word 'removed' but, it seems like github just removed the whole thing :/. Here's the log in a pastebin, seems to have preserved everything: http://paste.ubuntu.com/7766353/

the apikey does exist there, and it exists in autoprocessmedia.cfg.

What version of CouchPotato are you using?

If you set

[CouchPotato]
    [[movies]]
        wath_dir = /share/HDB_DATA/Pub_2/Download/_complete/movies

You should be able to run this script manually in terminal...

/opt/share/nzbget/ppscripts/nzbToMedia/nzbToCouchPotato.py

If this fails, it should print a trace back to terminal... Please post the output here (or pastebin)

Couchpotato version is... should be on the master branch, the version number reported on the webpage is: 45b2dff6. I've checked the couchpotato logs, and as far as i can see, it never seems to realize that something is even trying to import into it. I'm guessing that was supposed to say 'watch_dir'? I'm not sure, but i definitely don't have an existing 'wath_dir', should i create it? for the time being, i've put the file path in watch_dir.

I don't have a browser on the server that couchpotato/nzbget resides on, but it is on my local network, accessing it from my primary desktop with the local ip address instead of localhost results in the below, as usual apikeys replaced with removed, not sure if will paste properly here, but going to try.

This is weird... it doesn't give an error when connecting, but it fails to load the returned data as json...

what you have just shown is json.

Can you please double-check the apikey that is shown in the logs with the apikey in CouchPotato, settings, general?

Checked the api key again in nzbget, couchpotato and the autoprocessmedia.cfg, the one in autoprocessmedia was missing the last digit :/, sorry about that, i copied/pasted it so many times over and over, must have messed it up somewhere every time i checked. It did finish the nzbtocouchpotato script as far as i can tell, now im back to an old issue i was having before this one popped up.

Whenever couchpotato actually tried to download files, it would snatch, download, then they would never show up. Somewhere along the line between nzbtomedia and couchpotato, it seems to have processed the file to... nowhere, the movie that was in the directory was deleted and doesn't seem to have gone anywhere on the drive. Nothing at all about it in the couchpotato logs, it doesn't seem to have noticed. I pasted the logs from where it was getting stuck beforehand.

Can you post the full logs please?

This shouldn't be delting the folder when media files are still present... i fixed this in dev, so it appears you are still on an older version? I have just pushed dev to master, so please update...

Can you show the contents of the Couchpotato log between 00:32 and 00:33?

Please enable debug logging in CouchPotato (settings, general, debug) and then restart CouchPotato... This will give more details in CouchPotato logs with the next run.

Sorry, i can't seem to find a way to check the version of nzbtomedia, it is very probable i did not follow the proper steps to switch to the dev branch, doing all this on my qnap leaves me a bit confused sometimes. There was actually absolutely nothing around 00:32 in couchpotato, nowhere near it, a big long gap actually, i don't use couchpotato for a lot.

I turned on debug, restarted couchpotato, and put another file in to try to process, it did not delete it, but it also did not import it, i think this was a naming issue, after renaming the folder to its imdb id, it seems to have done it! Apparently this was fixed in your dev version, and i just have no idea how to switch between them :/, mission successful, thank you so much for the help, and thanks for all the work you've put in to these scripts!

Also, looking at your logs above, i suggest you do the following

CouchPotato, settings, renamer run_every = 0 force_every = 48

Basically, as it is, the Couchpotato renamer might be finding these first and interfering...

Ah, thanks again! couchpotato settings changed, i'm not sure which of those parts i missed when trying to update to dev version, but i definitely did not do all of those, but at least now i know where to look if i need to switch to dev in the future :D.
