False positive virus detection #112

Hello, When I updated from 5.03 to 5.1.2 today Panda Dome antivirus detected "Uninstall Clipto.exe" and "old-uninstaller.exe" as a virus or Exploit. The files were in my temp folder. Virus Total did not flag them though, even though Panda is one of their engines used. I do not have a report from my computer because I restored it from quarantine too fast (I really tried hard to find the log file but no success.)

I did report it to Panda Security via their chat. The agent sent it to the virus detect team. I hope this helps.

the exe files are signed with a trust certificate which need some time to be trusted by windows antiviruses.

It is possible to download the app from the Windows Store. It is the same binary, but certified by Windows itself and should not be reported by antiviruses as a potentially dangerous app. Please check. The link on the Windows Store is on site
