Locate Desktop Backup Files + Make Compatible With Android App #162
I'm wondering if anyone can make suggestions on how to do the following based on general tech savvy (without needing to be directly associated with ClipTo).
========================
When the Android app stopped syncing recently...
...I mistakenly signed out of the app, not realizing that all notes would be lost. No backup was made beforehand. Fortunately, the entire note history remains intact on the desktop side.
This is from a help-thread reply to another member, by a ClipTo channel admin, on Discord:
05/22/24: "...For now, you can export the database on Android and import it to PC by putting in the appdata folder for clipto and (I believe) the PC database file can be put into Android by copying it over..."
It's unclear if "database file", as described above, is a direct reference to the "databases.db" file, which was found in the ClipTo AppData folder on my pc , but is only 28kb and last modified in January 2023.)
(The channel admin does not appear to be active at the Discord channel currently.)
Here's a look at the Windows folders/files that may 🤷 contain the relevant data? (based on recency, filename, size, etc,)...
FWIW, the "000014.ldb" file shown above, when opened with Notepad, amongst a bunch of wingding-style jargon, does contain recognizable English text from previous notes that I recognize as my own.

👉 Any guidance would be appreciated. 🙏
