Text in front of images #5

The text in front of the images are hard to read (most prominent in the home page, the sponsorship page, and the slider in the travel page)

I updated the font color on the landing page to #d5dde0. The nav-bar is #fff which I think is a bit too much, but what do you think?

Hm - I think it works for the larger text, and if the photo is dark enough, but the

"OCTOBER 15 - 17, 2018 LAS VEGAS, NV"

is still hard to read. And I think it might still be hard to read if the font is lighter. I think it's fine that the nav-bar is white, but if it's easy to do, it might be nice to have it turn a little transparent when scrolling down (like we do with the diglib site)

I've updated the Hotel page (https://forum2018.diglib.org/hotel/) and that font color looks fine for the background.
