I think that ClojureScript should have a separate visual identity from Clojure proper, though it should pay homeage to the Clojure identity. -- from ClojureScript's Launch Plan:

Just haphazardly getting this weird idea out of my head to combine the Clojure and JS logos.

• The lambda seems compulsory for a clojurescript logo, and it seems to beg to share the curve on that J somehow.
• The form might be confusing (i.e. "what is AJS?").
• Maybe you can imagine the lambda composed of a rotated C and L, to complete "CLJS", in an illegible graffiti sort of way.

Since I have negative feelings about the clojure logo, it struck me that it wasn't used anywhere for the Clojure Conj branding. Nowhere on the website or event badges. Instead they used the Helvetica logo:

Maybe we can use the hanging J for juxtaposing J/S. It would be a familiar look, and would be easy to get a professional to design correctly, and easy to make work for the website.

I like it. If you tilt your head, you can kinda get the "Cljs" out of it. Maybe if we want the lambda to be a part of it, we can use the Clojure logo as the 'o', which would also help emphasize the "Cljs." I dunno. Just throwing that out there.

I wonder what a white "lambda" strikeout through the center would look like and if it could be combined with the "CLJS" lettering somehow.
