OS: MacOS Ver. 11.7 Chrome: 107.0.5304.36 Chrome Clockify Time Tracker extension: 2.8.2 symptoms: Notifications do appear as alert but without playing sound.

Hi, @huouer thank you for your comment! Kindly note that there is no option to set up notification sounds on macOS devices due to technical requirements. Therefore users can receive notifications as alerts or banners, however, there won't be sound. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach back if you have any other questions. Cheers!

Hi @7saraK , thank you for your clarification. Is there any chance to add the sound of notification in future? Alternatively, can you please add the function of pomodoro long break in MacOS desktop App?

7saraK commented 1 year ago

Hi @huouer, I have checked with the team, and was advised that the long breaks, default break project, and automatic breaks will be added to our macOS desktop app. When it comes to the sound notifications on the browser, this is something we cannot promise at this point, however, I have forwarded your question as a feature suggestion for future updates.

Feel free to reach back if you have any other questions. Cheers!

Thank you for the great news, @7saraK. Do you have the ETC of the revision of macOS desktop app including long breaks, default break project, and automatic breaks? Is there any roadmap to add these functions into the windows desktop app?

7saraK commented 1 year ago

Hi again. The team advised that first we will release the Pomodoro timer for the Windows desktop app and then we'll start working on the upgrade of this feature for all our clients to release Long breaks, default break projects, and automatic breaks. At the moment, they couldn't give me any specific ETA, but they are confident all this will be live next year. Feel free to reach back if you have any other questions. Cheers!

Hello, I can't find the notification sound setting in my chrome extension (using Windows here).

Also, is it possible to request a feature to add a clicking sound while the timer is running? Like this does https://github.com/schmich/marinara

Thanks!

Hi @mauamolat, it is possible only to enable notifications for Google Chrome in general, there is no specific setup for Clockify's extension. This can be done from Settings on your device > Notifications and Actions > Google Chrome.

As for your feature suggestion, I have forwarded it to the team as well. Also, if you ever have any further suggestions, feel free to visit this link and share it with our Product team directly - https://clockify.me/feedback.

Hope this helps. Cheers!
