I suggest bringing it up on the clojure-dev ML.
I posted. But someone needs to approve me
I think you need a Clojure CA to post on clojure-dev. You also need one to contribute to j.i.i. Perhaps try a message on the Clojure ML to gauge interest.
@Ambrose,
I got on to the dev ml fine, but this is my first post so it needs someone to approve it. I read the instructions for contributing.... Do we really have to post a letter to Durham to get on the CA list?
I'm happy to do so, but it'll be nice to find out what the intent for this library was in the first place.
I'm unsure if you'll be approved without a CA.
Hi Chris,
Ambrose is correct - you need a signed CA to join the -dev mailing list, post on the -dev mailing list, or contribute code to contrib libraries, so that is the place to start.
Thanks! Alex Miller
Thanks Alex.
I'll get onto it… but it still doesn't answer my first question….
Does anyone know what this library was meant to do and if iron can cover some/most of the envisaged functionality?
Chris

I do not know why the library was created. Clearly no one is working on it. :)
I wrote http://www.github.com/zcaudate/iroh to solve this problem. I'm happy to contribute the library to the project if you think it is a good fit for the original intent.
