That's a very beautiful front panel layout! Well done indeed! I'll try to get this done for you. :-)
What do you think of removing the ON buttons and replacing them with "LOAD" buttons?
I would keep the ON buttons (aka trigger MUTE) on the panel and leave the sample loading function in the context menu.
In general I'm not a fan of loading samples in the the context menu. But in this specific case I'll create 10-15 user presets for myself with some common sample combinations (i.e. kick1.wav, snare1.wav, coolhat.wav or hat1.wav, hat2wav, hat3.wav) and after having a basic idea what's needed in the patch I'll replace anyway that sound with a serious module combination. (Like Trummor2, or noise+HPfilter+VCA for hats.) In short: I don't see myself constantly changing the samples.
On the other hand I definitely need a way to quickly silence out one or more of the sounds. It's a module to draft and to experiment in my imagination. Having those ON buttons allow me to skip any additional mute module (like Bogaudio MUTE8, VCV Mutes) before.
I much appreciate if you can dedicate any time or effort to this proposal. You are flooded with ideas, suggestions, and codes these days I know.
Best regards, Andras
I see a constant need for a similar module. Just saying... :)

Thanks for the heads up. I'm very actively working on the Groovebox module right now and will swing back to this. Maybe I'll start to publish a "roadmap". Ha ha ha. :-)
Dear Bret,
I'd like to propose a new module. The main purpose is to provide a quick kick/snare/hat box that could be thrown into the mix for rough sketching of the rhythm section.
Most of its features are based on the lovely SamplerX8. (See TRG, POS, VOL, PAN, individual out, sum out).
But there are a few differences:
I know that your hands are full with other projects (i.e. Digital Sequencer XP, Digital Programmer) now but I wanted to leave here a note. This small footstep module would be such a bless.
Best regards, Andras
